Process characteristics of plastic sheet

PP plastic sheet is made of environmental protection materials, which is well known for its excellent corrosion resistance. In addition, we are more concerned about its process and the following is to introduce the process characteristics of plastic sheet:

1. High molecular orientation and large shrinkage rate.

2. The melt viscosity of PP plastic sheet decreases significantly with the increase of shear rate.

3.The plastic sheet is not needed to dry it when processing,and its shrinkage and crystallinity are lower than that of PE plastic sheet.

4. Its processing temperature is better around 200-300℃, with good thermal stability, and its decomposition temperature is 310℃. However, if it stays in the barrel for a long time at a high temperature of 270-300℃, it may degrade.

5. Because the viscosity of the PP plastic sheet decreases significantly with the increase of the shear rate, so increase the injection pressure and injection speed will improve the liquidity, change the shrinkage deformation and sag, mold temperature should be controlled within the range of 30-50℃.

PP plastic sheet is heat-resistant, impact resistant, non-toxic and tasteless, which is one of the engineering plastics that meets the requirements of environmental protection. It has become the object that the public will choose to use, so as to realize its use value. The continuous development of society also drives its wider application.
